Electro & Co ETM RTR Lite – Quick Overview

Best for: confident teenage and adult riders entering the Electro & Co RTR platform.

Power: up to 5kW output with three selectable power levels.

    Battery: 60V 20Ah hot-swappable battery with tool-free removal.

    Suspension: 48mm E&C-tuned non-adjustable fork and pit-bike-grade rear shock.

Our view: the most accessible RTR model — serious trail-bike hardware, useful upgrade potential and less initial performance than the full RTR.

The Electro & Co ETM RTR Lite is the starting point in the RTR electric trail-bike range. It combines a 5kW motor, removable 60V battery and proper 14/12-inch off-road chassis without immediately stepping up to the full RTR’s 8kW and 72V setup.

It is aimed at confident teens and adults who want a capable off-road machine with room to upgrade. The Lite is more accessible than the full RTR, but it is still a serious performance bike rather than a small beginner model.

My Take as a British MX Rider

The RTR Lite makes sense when you want the proper RTR chassis and riding position but do not need the full model’s power from day one. Its 5kW output is still substantial, and the removable battery plus upgrade path give the platform room to grow.

For a confident rider entering the Electro & Co range, this is the sensible place to start.

Why Choose the ETM RTR Lite?

    5kW Maximum Output

Strong off-road performance with three selectable power levels for different riders and terrain.

    Hot-Swappable Battery

The 60V 20Ah battery is accessed through the quick-release seat and removed without tools.

    Upgrade Potential

The supplied specification lists expansion potential up to a 72V 45Ah battery setup.

    Proper Trail Hardware

14/12-inch wheels, MX tyres, a 48mm fork and pit-bike-grade rear shock.

    RTR Lite vs ETM RTR

    Model Standard Setup Best For
ETM RTR Lite 5kW / 60V 20Ah Confident riders entering the RTR platform
ETM RTR 8kW / 72V 25Ah Experienced riders wanting stronger performance immediately

    Motor and Battery

The E&C ETM IPM brushless motor produces up to 5kW through three selectable power levels, allowing the delivery to be adjusted for rider ability, terrain and conditions. A bar-mounted LCD displays key riding information.

The 60V 20Ah battery is hot-swappable and removable without tools. A 5A charger is included, and the platform is listed as fast-charger ready.

    Key Performance Details

    • Motor: E&C ETM IPM brushless
    • Maximum output: 5kW
    • Power settings: three selectable levels
    • Battery: 60V 20Ah, hot-swappable
    • Upgrade potential: listed up to 72V 45Ah
    • Charger: 5A included

    Chassis, Suspension and Rider Fit

The tubular-steel frame uses a replaceable subframe, adjustable-position footpegs and a quick-release padded seat. A 14-inch front and 12-inch rear wheel setup with MX tyres gives the Lite compact, responsive trail-bike handling.

Up front is a plush 48mm E&C-tuned fork. It is important to note that the Lite’s fork is not adjustable. The rear uses a pit-bike-grade shock, with E&C disc brakes fitted front and rear.

    Who Is It For?

The RTR Lite is aimed at confident teenage and adult riders who want a serious electric trail bike while keeping the initial specification below the full RTR.

For private-land use only. It is not road legal. Suitable protective equipment should always be worn.

    ETM RTR Lite FAQs

Is the RTR Lite a beginner bike?

No. It is the entry model in the RTR range but remains a powerful off-road machine for confident riders.

How does it differ from the full RTR?

The Lite has a 5kW motor, 60V 20Ah battery and non-adjustable fork; the supplied full RTR specification uses 8kW, 72V 25Ah and adjustable forks.

    Can the battery be removed?

Yes. It is hot-swappable and can be removed without tools through the quick-release seat.

    Is it road legal?

No. The ETM RTR Lite is designed for responsible off-road use on private land.

    Our Verdict

The ETM RTR Lite is a credible entry into the RTR platform, combining 5kW performance with proper off-road running gear and a removable battery.

Choose the Lite if you want the RTR chassis and upgrade path without paying for the full model’s performance immediately.

  • Delivery & Returns

    Delivery Options

Electro & Co bikes are dispatched from UK stock using specialist courier services. Customers can choose either boxed delivery or our professionally assembled Build & PDI service, which must be selected at checkout.

    Typical delivery times:

    • Boxed Delivery: 1–2 working days
    • Standard Build & PDI: 3–5 working days
    • Express Build & PDI: 2–3 working days

Delivery estimates are provided as guidance and may vary depending on stock location, workshop capacity and courier schedules.

Boxed delivery: The bike will arrive in its original shipping crate and require final assembly. Before being ridden, it must be correctly assembled and fully inspected by a competent, suitably qualified motorcycle mechanic.

The inspection must cover the complete bike, including factory-fitted parts, brakes, calipers, wheels, axles, handlebars, controls, suspension, drivetrain, electrical connections and all safety-critical fasteners.

Customers should retain evidence of professional assembly and inspection. Electro & Co’s manufacturer warranty specifically excludes faults or damage caused by incorrect installation, assembly or setup.

Build & PDI delivery: If selected at checkout, Garland Powersports will professionally assemble and PDI check the bike before delivery. Following transportation, the customer must still inspect the bike before its first ride for transit damage, loose components or anything requiring adjustment.

The bike must not be ridden until it has been fully inspected and confirmed safe. Regular pre-ride checks, servicing and maintenance remain the owner’s responsibility.

    Electro & Co Manufacturer Warranty

Complete Electro & Co bikes include:

    • 30-day limited manufacturer warranty against general manufacturing defects
    • Six-month limited manufacturer warranty on powertrain components
    • Powertrain cover includes the motor, controller, display and battery

Electro & Co also offers the original owner a 30% discount on replacement powertrain components during the first year of ownership, subject to its current manufacturer terms and claim approval.

Manufacturer warranty coverage is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser.

    Warranty does not normally cover:

    • Incorrect installation, assembly or setup
    • Normal wear and tear
    • Tyres and inner tubes
    • Brake pads and brake discs
    • Chains and sprockets
    • Crash, impact or accidental damage
    • Misuse, abuse or neglect
    • Water damage
    • Overheating caused by use, setup or installation
    • Damage caused by non-Electro & Co components
    • Unauthorised modifications or repairs
    • Lack of servicing or maintenance
    • Damage caused by continued use after a fault appears

If a fault or safety concern appears, stop using the bike immediately and contact Garland Powersports.

We may require proof of purchase, the bike’s serial number, clear photographs, videos, error-code images and details of any modifications or non-standard components.

Where the cause cannot be confirmed remotely, the bike may need to be returned or collected for inspection before warranty eligibility and the appropriate resolution can be confirmed.

Do not return or ship a battery, motor, controller or other component without receiving instructions from Garland Powersports. Lithium batteries require specialist handling and cannot be sent through standard courier services.

    Returns

Please contact Garland Powersports before returning an Electro & Co bike.

For a standard change-of-mind return, the bike must be unused, unmodified and returned with all original packaging, keys, chargers, manuals and accessories.

Bikes that have been assembled, ridden, damaged, modified or handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them may not qualify for a full change-of-mind refund. Any permitted deduction will be assessed in accordance with applicable consumer law.

This does not affect your rights where a bike is confirmed to have been faulty when supplied.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

Revvi full-face helmet sizes

How to measure

Measure around the widest part of the rider's head. The tape should pass above the eyebrows and ears and around the fullest part at the back of the head.

SizeHead circumference
XS, Extra Small48 to 50cm
S, Small51 to 54cm
M, Medium55 to 58cm
L, Large59 to 61cm

Always choose by the rider's actual head measurement, not by age. Head shape can also affect how a helmet fits.

Between sizes? Do not automatically choose a larger helmet for growing room. A helmet must fit securely now. If the rider falls between sizes, check the fit carefully before use.

Amped AMP-1 helmet sizes

How to measure

Measure around the widest part of the rider's head. The tape should pass above the eyebrows and ears and around the fullest part at the back of the head.

SizeHead circumference
M, Medium54 to 58cm
L, Large58 to 62cm

Always choose by the rider's actual head measurement, not by age. Head shape can also affect how a helmet fits.

Measuring exactly 58cm? That falls in both sizes. Fit varies with head shape, so check the measurement and that the helmet sits securely before use. Do not choose a loose helmet to allow growing room.

Revvi riding jersey sizes

Choosing a size

The Revvi Kids Riding Jersey comes in dedicated sizes for younger children and growing youth riders. Select the size before adding it to your basket.

SizeAge guide
Age 2About 2 years
Age 3About 3 years
Age 4About 4 years
Age 5About 5 years
YS, Youth SmallAges 6 to 7
YM, Youth MediumAges 8 to 9
YL, Youth LargeAges 10 to 11

Ages are a guide only. Consider the child's height, build and preferred fit too.

Between sizes? If the rider is between sizes, still growing or likely to wear a base layer underneath, the larger size may be more comfortable.

Kids riding jersey sizes

How to measure

Compare these with a jersey or long-sleeve top that already fits the rider well. Chest width is measured across the front with the jersey laid flat, so it is half the full chest.

SizeAge guideHalf chestLength
2 to 3Ages 2 to 331cm49cm
3 to 4Ages 3 to 433cm51cm
4 to 5Ages 4 to 535cm53cm

YS, Youth SmallAges 7 to 941cm59cm
YM, Youth MediumAges 9 to 1145cm63cm
YL, Youth LargeAges 11 to 1449cm67cm

Ages are a guide only. The chest width and body length are the best way to choose.

Riding glove sizes

How to measure

Palm: straight across the widest part of the palm, not including the thumb.
Length: from the base of the wrist to the tip of the longest finger.

SizeAge guidePalm widthHand length
2 to 3Ages 2 to 36.5cm11.5cm
4 to 5Ages 4 to 57cm12cm
6 to 7Ages 6 to 77.5cm12.5cm
YS, Youth SmallYouth Small8cm13.5cm
YM, Youth MediumYouth Medium8.5cm14cm

Use the measurements rather than age alone. Hand shapes vary, so check both wherever possible. Once fitted, make sure the rider can comfortably use the throttle, brakes and every handlebar control.

Between sizes? The larger size usually gives a more comfortable fit and a little growing room, but the glove must not get in the way of safe control of the bike.
