Explore electric bikes for older children and teenagers at Garland Powersports, including models from Revvi, Amped, EBOX, Electro & Co, Sur-Ron and 10TEN. Compare larger youth electric bikes, compact electric pit bikes and performance off-road machines to find the right next step.
Whether the rider has outgrown a smaller bike or wants a different style of off-road riding, start with their height, experience and intended use. This collection includes bikes with very different power levels and sizing requirements, including models intended for older teenagers and adults.
The 12+ category is a starting point, not a minimum-age recommendation for every bike. Check each model’s stated age guidance, recommended rider height, seat height and maximum rider weight. Some models in this collection are intended for older teenagers or adults.
Compare the rider’s height and inside-leg measurement with the bike’s dimensions, and make sure they can comfortably reach the controls and support the bike when stopping. Bike weight matters as much as seat height, particularly when moving from a small balance bike to an electric dirt bike.
For less experienced riders, prioritise manageable power and suitable low-speed settings. More experienced riders may benefit from additional suspension capability, stronger brakes or a larger riding platform. Choose according to ability and fit rather than maximum speed alone.
A next-step bike should give the rider the room and equipment they need without an excessive jump in weight or performance. Consider what they currently ride, how confidently they brake and control the throttle, and the terrain they intend to use.
Introduce the new bike on its lowest appropriate setting and practise starting, stopping and turning before increasing performance. Use a suitable helmet and protective equipment, with adult supervision for younger riders. These off-road models are intended for private land with permission and permitted riding venues.
We offer specialist advice before and after purchase, UK delivery options and access to spare parts and accessories. Assembly and delivery arrangements vary by model, so check the individual product for its requirements, current availability and any pre-order delivery window.
