Revvi 20 Electric Bike — Quick Overview

Recommended age: approximately 10–14 years (rider size and ability matter most)

Best for: taller, more experienced young riders, typically from around 135cm

Power: 36V 800W brushless hub motor

    Speed: three selectable modes — 10, 16 and 22mph

Ride time: up to approximately 90 minutes, depending on mode, terrain and rider

A Serious Step Up for Growing Riders

The Revvi 20 is built for older and taller young riders who are ready for more speed, stronger performance and a larger chassis. Its 800W brushless motor, hydraulic brakes and adjustable suspension deliver a capable off-road package while three speed modes let parents match performance to the rider’s confidence and experience.

A removable 36V battery makes charging simple, while the adjustable seat height helps the bike accommodate growth. The result is a strong next step from smaller Revvi models without jumping straight to the largest bike in the range.

Built with British MX Rider Input

Revvi bikes are designed around real off-road riding. The Revvi 20 combines a robust aluminium-alloy frame and swingarm with 100mm front suspension, a rear air shock and aggressive knobbly tyres for confident control on suitable private off-road ground.

    Why Choose the Revvi 20?

    Controlled Progression

Three selectable speed modes allow performance to increase as skill and confidence develop.

    Capable Chassis

An aluminium-alloy frame, swingarm and adjustable suspension support confident off-road riding.

    Strong Braking

Hydraulic disc brakes and adjustable-reach alloy levers give riders dependable stopping control.

    Easy Charging

The removable battery charges in approximately 2 hours 30 minutes.

Is the Revvi 20 the Right Size?

The recommended age is approximately 10–14 years, but age is only a guide. Rider height, inside-leg measurement, experience and confidence should determine the final choice.

    • Choose the Revvi 20 for a taller or more experienced young rider, typically from around 135cm, who is ready for a 20-inch platform.
    • Consider the Revvi 18 if the rider would benefit from a smaller, more manageable step before moving to a 20-inch bike.
    • Consider the Revvi 20 Plus if you need the enhanced specification and performance offered by the Plus model.
    • Consider the Revvi 24 for riders who need the largest and most powerful option in the Revvi range.

Speed Modes and Approximate Ride Time

Mode Top Speed Approx. Ride Time
    Low 10mph 90 minutes
    Medium 16mph 60 minutes
    High 22mph 35 minutes

Ride times are approximate and vary with rider weight, terrain, temperature, riding style and battery condition.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What age is the Revvi 20 for?

The recommended age is approximately 10–14 years. Always choose by physical fit, ability and confidence rather than age alone, and supervise young riders.

How is it different from the Revvi 18?

The Revvi 20 is the larger option, designed for taller and more experienced riders who are ready for a 20-inch platform and stronger performance.

Should I buy the standard Revvi 20 or the 20 Plus?

The standard Revvi 20 is a capable all-round choice. The 20 Plus is worth considering if its enhanced specification better suits the rider’s needs and intended use.

    Are Revvi 20 bundles available?

Yes. Bike-and-gear bundles can simplify the purchase and may offer better overall value than selecting each item separately.

    Where can it be ridden?

This model is intended for responsible use on suitable private land with the landowner’s permission. Riders should wear appropriate protective equipment and follow all applicable local rules.

    The Verdict

With its 800W motor, three speed settings, hydraulic brakes and adjustable suspension, the Revvi 20 is a convincing upgrade for a growing young rider. It combines usable performance with room to progress—and a bundle is the easiest way to complete the setup with the right riding essentials.

Revvi full-face helmet sizes

How to measure

Measure around the widest part of the rider's head. The tape should pass above the eyebrows and ears and around the fullest part at the back of the head.

SizeHead circumference
XS, Extra Small48 to 50cm
S, Small51 to 54cm
M, Medium55 to 58cm
L, Large59 to 61cm

Always choose by the rider's actual head measurement, not by age. Head shape can also affect how a helmet fits.

Between sizes? Do not automatically choose a larger helmet for growing room. A helmet must fit securely now. If the rider falls between sizes, check the fit carefully before use.

Amped AMP-1 helmet sizes

How to measure

Measure around the widest part of the rider's head. The tape should pass above the eyebrows and ears and around the fullest part at the back of the head.

SizeHead circumference
M, Medium54 to 58cm
L, Large58 to 62cm

Always choose by the rider's actual head measurement, not by age. Head shape can also affect how a helmet fits.

Measuring exactly 58cm? That falls in both sizes. Fit varies with head shape, so check the measurement and that the helmet sits securely before use. Do not choose a loose helmet to allow growing room.

Revvi riding jersey sizes

Choosing a size

The Revvi Kids Riding Jersey comes in dedicated sizes for younger children and growing youth riders. Select the size before adding it to your basket.

SizeAge guide
Age 2About 2 years
Age 3About 3 years
Age 4About 4 years
Age 5About 5 years
YS, Youth SmallAges 6 to 7
YM, Youth MediumAges 8 to 9
YL, Youth LargeAges 10 to 11

Ages are a guide only. Consider the child's height, build and preferred fit too.

Between sizes? If the rider is between sizes, still growing or likely to wear a base layer underneath, the larger size may be more comfortable.

Kids riding jersey sizes

How to measure

Compare these with a jersey or long-sleeve top that already fits the rider well. Chest width is measured across the front with the jersey laid flat, so it is half the full chest.

SizeAge guideHalf chestLength
2 to 3Ages 2 to 331cm49cm
3 to 4Ages 3 to 433cm51cm
4 to 5Ages 4 to 535cm53cm
5 to 6Ages 5 to 637cm55cm
6 to 7Ages 6 to 739cm57cm
YS, Youth SmallAges 7 to 941cm59cm
YM, Youth MediumAges 9 to 1145cm63cm
YL, Youth LargeAges 11 to 1449cm67cm

Ages are a guide only. The chest width and body length are the best way to choose.

Riding glove sizes

How to measure

Palm: straight across the widest part of the palm, not including the thumb.
Length: from the base of the wrist to the tip of the longest finger.

SizeAge guidePalm widthHand length
2 to 3Ages 2 to 36.5cm11.5cm
4 to 5Ages 4 to 57cm12cm
6 to 7Ages 6 to 77.5cm12.5cm
YS, Youth SmallYouth Small8cm13.5cm
YM, Youth MediumYouth Medium8.5cm14cm

Use the measurements rather than age alone. Hand shapes vary, so check both wherever possible. Once fitted, make sure the rider can comfortably use the throttle, brakes and every handlebar control.

Between sizes? The larger size usually gives a more comfortable fit and a little growing room, but the glove must not get in the way of safe control of the bike.
